No, XXR does not make anything in the 10" + width with the offset I mentioned in my first post.

Whoa, excellent width and offset, and excellent price! Thanks for that link.

I took this pic from the Wheel thread, and this guys setup is on point. 18" CCW's with 11.5" wide in the rear, no crazy stretch/camber going on to make them not rub, pretty much perfect fitment. Only thing is they're CCW's so probably $3k plus. That's a tough pill to swallow for a guy that's used to not even spending $1k on wheels in the past on my DSM.
You are not alone Halon. As that is exactly my opinion as well. I have no taste for camber, stretch, or the like. I want proper fitment and enough rubber to get the job done. In fact I actually prefer the look and extra area that more tire than wheel provides.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. Agree I like the look of a meaty tire. Here was my old project on 17" Rota Boost's. Might even be worth trying 17's on the SC if it allows me to run meatier (and cheaper) tires.

I say G35's. You can get tires up to a 265 on rear. Some say that's not wide for that amount of horsepower. My first choice would be a set of TT, with the correct spacers, extended studs, and stance, they look great.

My goal would be to get at least some 305's in the rear.

You could also widen a set of IS350, 350z, or G35 wheels. You may be able to get the wheels locally pretty cheap. I've seen the Supra guys do it a lot. A friend of mine did this with his TT wheels and it was a couple hundred dollars to get them widened.

While most people look down on them for being poor quality wheels, Rotas are cheap and some of them come in very wide sizes. They've got a huge variety of wheels to choose from.

you can also go with 10.5" corvette wheels and get them redrilled for $40 each. The wheels themselves start at $102 each shipped.

I just got some 05+ mustang deep dish bullitt wheels for $450, they don't clear LS400 calipers. They're 18X9 and 18X10 and have pretty much perfect offset for meaty tires. I'm taking them back tomorrow to get the FR500 wheels, hoping they clear the LS400 brakes. Got them from wheel replicas in Katy. I have supra TT wheels on the car for now.
Planning on 245 up front and 295 on the rear.

EDIT: Both FR500 and Bullitt mustang wheels don't clear LS400 calipers. FR500 might clear with some grinding of the caliper, but I didn't feel like doing that.

Thanks for all the ideas. After thinking it over for awhile, I really still haven't found anything that stands out for me as far as style, size, offset, and price. So I think I'm going to stick with my Supra rims I have for awhile longer. I may rethink this again in a couple years, but for now the Supra wheels are clean and simple, and well free since they are already on the car

Supra TTs are the best bang for your buck wheel. I think I remember reading a Supra with stock wheels hitting like a 9 second 1/4 mile.

The 17s will hook much better than the 18s. More meat on the rim.

By the way I'm definitely going out your 700whp build!
