Tell me about it, i was so scared i thought the transmission was done :/, we got it on the lift and confirmed my diff died, im getting a stock diff again just to save me money for my body work. im getting all my fluids done when its on the lift again so it should be bullet proof until i get my starter & power steering fixed up.
I was driving and just heard a loud pop, and then the car stopped moving, once we got the the shop got on the lift and tried changing gears, the drive shaft spins but it doesn't move the wheels, hence diff blown. He said it might of been dry, but we didn't open it, but once i go in today, i'll see for sure.
Updates for you guys! I went and got the diff finally installed last night and it was quite a battle, yet it was fun. The mechanic lets us help him work on our cars so we get some experience! without further ado, heres the pics. Finally, headed to the body shop on wednesday, ill let you know how the build progresses.

Maserati, way to push through your small streak of misfortune-it all works out in the wash! Atleast now, you'll have a piece of mind knowing it's done right. Now you can focus on upcoming D.I.Y. projects, keep us posted and we're all here supporting you!
