Question Is this radiator corrosion an immediate problem?

Hi,
I was studying my engine bay and taking pictures today and saw some serious corrosion on the bottom half of my radiator. Is this an immediate problem or not necessarily an issue yet? The car is not running hot. The needle is at 3 o'clock.
If it's an immediate issue, should I go with used or aluminum aftermarket? I want to keep costs down but not pass on an inexpensive upgrade if it will really help.

It shouldn't be a big deal until, like you stated it starts leaking or the needle shows otherwise. I would def recommend replacing it before you find out the hard way and blow a head gasket. Find one at the junk yard or spend a couple extra dollars and get a koyo/mishimoto and drop it in.

But to answer your question, no, not an immediate issue.

Thank You!
I'll put it on the "within 2-3 months" list unless needle goes up.
