Thoughts on this SC400?
Ok, story time.
This dealership is 2 hours away from me so I decided I want to come to some sort of understanding on price before I waste 4+ hours of my life driving up there. Give the guy a call, and tell him that there are a few other SC's I have checked out, and got pricing on. I said for the car to be appealing to me, we would need to be able to make a deal in the $4,500 neighborhood.
He hung up on me before I could even bring up the 90k service and condition of the tires. Needless to say I'm still looking for a clean SC lol

5K, tops.
Its only worth that much because its all original, so it has that going for it.
I'd probably just hold out for a lower mileage example and just pay 2 grand more.... theres so many of these cars with less than 50K on them being put up for sale every day.

Looks like the seller is going by the kkb private seller price. As many previous post mentioned there could be many things that are needed/replaced inside and out. If you really want the Sc find everything thats needs to be fixed or replaced and deduct from the sellers total. Good Luck

Give it some time youll find your SC im sure of it
I'd say in the 4-5k price range. For 7k it would need to be a newer 97+ model with the same amount of miles to sound like a deal. The dealer is just asking at that price because they want someone with no or bad credit who want to throw some big wheels on it to buy it. Just be careful even if it has low mileage. If it sat, wasn't maintained well, and just have plain bad luck it could still be a lemon. Also 84k mileage on freeway mostly is nothing but 84k around town mostly is more wear on a car. Just be smart and have some money on the side. If your not good at wrenching then have even more set a side. Good luck with the buy!
