Default Is there a DIY for replacing steering rack?

About to replace rack and was wondering if anyone had a DIY for an SC300? I just replaced the rack bushings so I'm ok getting that far = more so the steering linkage and tie rod ends?

Thanks,
Jonny

It's only a few more bolts after the bushing install. a cotter pin, and a nut on each tie rod end. 2 bolts for the hydraulic ps line, and 1 linkage bolt which is the hardest thing to align.

Here is a good diy:

figs engineering sells superpro bushings or you can get whiteline bushings directly from whiteline.

Thank you sir So do you not need a pitman puller? Why do I keep reading about needing this?

Puller is preferred, but you can use a hammer and hit the knuckle to get the tie rod out.

Puller would make it easier.

Rent it from a auto part store and return the same day and they shouldn't charge you.
