Default valet crashed my sc400

A valet crashed my car and wants to send me to a sub standard shop or only pay me the value of the sub standard qoute which comes up $1500 short of a quality shop. Wondering if any one has advice on where to get the best pricing on lexus headlights and body parts, or used parts in the chicagoland area, thanks

Is the company paying for it or the valet driver?

company needs to pay for it and no short end work.

report it to your insurance, get the license number of the valet involved and of the company involved.

this is the reason i'd never let anyone drive my car, especially valet, sometimes they have too much fun. not to mention if its a small scratch and i dont notice it, after i leave or if i point it out the company might just deny it and say im bsing

Car is insured, open a claim, go to your own body shop.

That's crazy! Call your insurance company and they should be able to handle it.

I hate valet parking.

The valet company is paying for it but like I said they only want to pay sub standard rate from their specific shop which provided one of the most un professional estimates I've ever seen, scribbled on notebook paper and didn't even include tax. I talked to my insurance agent, but having liability and not full coverage, I don't have many options. I always figured its a 5 or 6k car why have full coverage when for 3x the cost of liability, especially since I am insuring 3 vehicles.
Yeah I was pretty disgusted to walk out of the restaurant and am suprised to see my car still sitting right in front of the door, the first thing I notice is that they are curbing the hell out of my stock rims and tires (so not that big of a deal but still wtf) then see the damage. I get a broken english explanation of "the ice, the brakes, go boom" great, thanks,
The valet company rep comes out gives me a claim form and accepts responsibility and promises me every thing will be handled, I felt pretty good about it. But now its become a pain in the ***.
Oh well, im sure it will work out, I just am not accepting anything but lexus parts and professional work.

That's just wrong/terrible what happened and your Sc looks so clean. Hope everything works out with the cost/repairs. Never take the Sc out when there is snow on the streets.

Im sorry to hear about your ride man, but it doesnt look too bad. Looks like fender bumper cover headlight and hood? Get them all at the junk yard or online, dissasembly, assembly and paint it I have a rule: You got it!! No one but me drives my baby, its a very strict rule though.

They should offer you free lifetime meals for that along with fixing it for you.

i have worked at a valet company before and the valet company must pay for full damage. Just ask for their insurance company and info and make a claim. If its some no name shady insurance company you've gotta make a case against their insurance agency.
