Default SC300 Weight Reduction

So as we all know. The SC300/400 are pretty heavy cars. And not the greatest on gas. Im looking for some tips to reduce easy weight without having to spend too much money. So far I have gutted the trunk, And I am gonna remove the back seats this weekend which Ive found out is actually really easy.

What other tips can you guys give me on lowering some weight on the SC. Im looking for the most inexpensive things first.

I really want to swap the doors. But the lightweight replacement ones ive found are way too high for right now. Anyone have solutions for this also?

CF doors on classifieds theres someone selling

SC is a heavy car, it wasn't meant to be light (hence the luxury interior). if you want though, gut everything and have 1 seat in the car, otherwise get a 240, because anything else and your looking to spend big bucks.

but I def agree... These are luxury cars... We use these things that look like snails called turbo's to make up for the weight!

What are you really trying to accomplish here??

Lets say your actually able to save a whopping 200 lbs from stripping the car... What is your goal here??

Is your car stock? Moddified? Turbo? Race car? Daily?

If its not a all out race car, your just throwing stuff away and wont really gain much. better off leaving the luxury content in place and keep the nice luxury quite ride its suppose to be.

ditch all the interior! get racing seats you will lose some lbs!

my plans are to get CF doors, trunk, hood, and a few other items to clear my weight so i can cage it to add it back.
