Question ignition lock

I recently bought a 95 sc4 with 48k miles on it. I made a new master key from dealer with vin # on the car. the key works for everything on the car, including ignition starting the car ONCE. After that one time I started the car, the key would not turn in the ignition. The key goes in and out but not turn. The steering is locked, I tried transmission in P and N. Both didn't work. I even tried stepping on the break while turning, but no luck. Does anybody know what I should do next, like replacing ignition lock??? or other alternatives??? or is there something that should be done to start the car?? if the battery is low, but enough to turn lights on, does it affect the starting?
yes, I already tried wd-40....it makes it in and out smoother, but wouldn't help turning.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Does your old key still work?

Hopefully the new one you had made didn't mess up the ignition lock thing.

During the time which you cannot turn the key, is your steering wheel locked? If it is locked, you have to pull on the steering wheel lightly in order to turn the key.

Thumbs up Very Easy Fix

Spray a little of W-40 into the ignition. Wait for five minutes and try your new key. It should work if your key is the correct key.

instaid of just turning the wheel, try moving it back and forth while turning the key forward.

I had a similar problem in that my key would go in and turn but wouldnt come out, I had to give the shifter and extra push forward while it was in park and I heard a click and the key came out.
