Exclamation Hood Cable Sc300

Yeah.. My hood cable lever from under the steering wheel stopped working. Im going to the yard today to try to get another one, but last time i opened it was from under my front bumper. Had no room so i had to jack it up and pull the cord manually.. but anyone have any information on this? How do I replace the cable wire that connect to under the steering wheel to the hood that opens it, please help.. I really appreciate it, thanks!

When I was relocating my wire harnesses on the driverside fender I saw the hood cable run through there pretty close to the airbag cable. You could take a look, it should look like a black/gray regular cable that doesn't look like a wire. Hope this helps :P

Default cable

take off screw holding the bottom panel under ur dash, that will make gettignt o the cable end esier. then move the cable to slot that has opining, and pull out cable rm panel, then remove ur driver fender u have about 9 10mm bolts, 2 on inside of door 4 on top side of fender 1 behind the headlight and 2 on the bumper support braket, now u can see the cable running from inside ur car to undernieth, and threw thr frame of the car it goes all the way to the very front of the latch, the latch has 3 bolts also and 1 bolt holding safty latchg, and 1 power plug behing it remove all of those and u can remove cable from the latch now u can install new cable excatly the same way u pulled it out now that ist free to move and come out off car
