i just bought the stock supra tt susp. From my understanding, the whole thing would fit into my sc400 lowering it .5"...i am asking ne one who knows...will this improve my ride? is it harmful to the car? and does the whole thing even fit? i have currently eibach with tokico for a sc, due to the cutting of the eibach...my ride now suks and is extremely bouncy!!!! i hate it!!!!! please respond if can....also i do plan to take 1 coil off the supra tt spring because its stock height ( i still need to look cool...lowered). please let me know...

 

why not jsut get eibachs for the sc and not cut them.

 

Anytime you cut a spring, you are taking off the progressive part of the dampening. Hence, your ride will be bad. So if you cut a stock you are in actuallity cutting the GOOD part of the spring and leaving yourself the stiff part. Your ride will be harsh again.

I would just get some Eibachs for your SC or get the Supra TT ones if you want the extra .3" drop. Then you will have all the ride characteristics and not a jackhammer.

it will be a harsher ride and a more bouncy one too, but it looks killer slammed, i would only cut after market springs. leave the oem ones alone
