Default HELP Experts Supra TT suspenison

so i just picked up a set of supra tt shock n spring
bad part is one of the front is missing a top mount
could i use the sc top mount

also if i cut the springs just a LITTLE BIT for just a 2inch drop would it make a differnece in ride handling and make it super bouncy

shock n spring have 60k on it i got it from sum1 on this forum

DO NOT EVER CUT A SPRING! they are made the way they are for a reason. if you cut it your ride will be crappy, youll blow your shocks faster and other things. just dont do it.

just dont do it, im telling you from experience, plus those schocks can be preety pricey if you blow them up, not worth the extra expense

k i wont cut the spring,
but will the sc top mount fit the tt shocks n springs

Yes. The top mounts both offer the same fitment on the SC and Supra.

For continuity, you might swap both your front SC mounts to the Supra shocks in the event that the rubber insulator is stiffer on the Supra mount: it could potentially unbalance the stiffness from left-to-right in the front if you had one mount from each vehicle on each of the two front shocks.

The most major difference between the Supra shocks and the SC shocks in therms of their geometry is the size of the rear spring seat on the Supra shocks, which is much smaller than the stock SC rear spring seat.

ok thanks so ill use the sc top mounts for the supra suspension on the fronts. thanks

Supra have a different shock valving (stiffer) than soarer.
