Thumbs up Leather repair kits

I just used my leather repair kit I received from www.leatherrepairkits.com and it worked very well. I was amazed at how well it fixed my seats. If anyone is thinking about purchasing new leather covers, you should at least think about trying this solution first. Just thought ya'll should know.

SCLEX,

I bought the same thing and had mixed results. Overall, most people here have posted negative results with the kit. I would tend to agree. This kit does not fix rips very well but can be used to fill lost color. In reality, all this stuff is paint.

this sounds good, the steering wheel on my 92sc is not the same color any more, its worn out, the color on it has faded, will this help restore the color, will it repair the faded color. this could be an easy solution to an ugly problem

And the passenger seat was kinda messed up on the right side. The side that you get out on was worn down.

No, It tells you to use conditioner after, and I did so it feels like the rest of the leather. The car's a 1993 SC400 with 49k miles.

mine is Ivory 06, but you look at the model and year number and match it up. If your interior is gray, it is probably " Gray15L" from their colors, but I would look at it first.

I applied several thin coats to my driver's seat and it looked great for a time. However, the seat is starting to flake where the applicator was applied. So it really isn't a permanent fix.
