3rd Time's the Charm! Crispy SC300.
Had some fun the last few days in the snow with it.
I am holding out on boosting the car until the chassis is completely set up.
I have a Set of Supra TT brakes waiting to go on, but I have to get wheels that fit over them.
Then a bushing kit, then coil-overs.
Then I have some dirty turbo plans that really isn't like most setups you see, it involves two that's all I'm gunna say!

Wow, timing issue?
Would like to know more about mounting the GTE FFIM on a GE bottom assembly. I ***'u'me this simply didn't "bolt" together, and all you did was get a longer throttle cable and relocate the TB, TPS, IACV, airbox, etc?

Negative, it sounded like actual parts flying apart in the bottom end.
I bought the engine assembled, should've never trusted it.
The two outer holes on the GTE need to be slotted to make the surfaces match up.
Use a gasket material or trim the OEM one.
Bolt it up.
Relocate the P/S res.
Extend the TPS part of harness 14" to go under the GTE FFIM. (Looks cleaner).
Use a Camry/Solara Throttle cable.
Airbox is useless, run a short intake pipe for N/A or just hook up the intercooler pipes.
Easy as that.

It has nothing to do with the intake, the rotating assembly physically stopped. This was in limp mode N/A
This was due I imagine to improper shortblock assembly by the previous owner, who knows?
The GTE intake has a little problem lining up perfectly, and ports 3 and 4 need to smoothed out, those are the only "Problems" with this intake, it doesn't "Kill" anything.
I will make it work, make numbers and then go on to a real FFIM later.
