That is fine craftsmanship! He wouldn't be in Southern California would he?

Default Hidden Antenna How To

I installed a hidden antenna and disconnected the OEM mast. It does not come up any more and the new antenna works great! Now I just need to shave it to be complete. Here is the how to on the install:

Do you still get reception if you keep the antenna down?

Good to see this old thread come up again. I was thinking about the S2000 antenna mod or something else along those lines.

The antenna is definitely too long! I'm also curious as to how the reception would be when the antenna is down. How would one go about disabling the antenna from automatically rising when you turn on the radio?

This might be a silly question but how do you unplug it? From the trunk underneath the trunk mat?

Another thread bookmarked for later, my antenna is bent pretty bad at the top, going to try and fix this soon. That MDX antenna looks great.

reception is terrible. but you no longer look like an rc car driving around. i simply unplugged my antenna and now use a universal window antenna but its under my seat and works just as well. i get awesome reception with it

I bought an amplified antenna and installed it on the roof under the shark fin. Sorry I don't have a close up of it. It works great. I also shaved the stock antenna.
