While I had I had everything out I forgot to take pictures, but I did remember how I installed the antenna. All you have to do is take the glove box off, and you'll see space you can slide the antenna in, then route the wire down the inside of the center console so that you can plug it into the appropriate connector.

 

No worries. I thought the antenna plugs into the back of the Stock radio? I will try to remember to take pics and do a "do it yourself" thread. I just need to find how to remove the glove box. I will search now. Thank you for the glove box trick info.

 

Murco did you or are you going to shave stock antenna?

I noticed that he has a MKIV Supra antenna as well. Think it will fit better with our rubber grommet?

I noticed that too. It may fit, but I'll look at my buddies mk4 on Friday and see

 

i got mine in and will be installing it soon. I'll be installing it in the trunk since that is where the cd changer is hooked up to the antenna. I was hoping to hook it up directly to the head unit for the best connection, but the cd changer didn't work that way. It plays over the FM band. weird. I would prefer a cd changer/player that is hard wired to the head unit so if reception is bad I can still listen to my cd's.

 

I shaved mine and have a tune trapper like above in the trunk.
