i have the kenwood touchscreen, no problems, ive had it for almost 1year, its pretty nice, fits perfect, would recomend it.

In my car it sits up top because i was going to install the dvd player bellow, but changed my mind so dvd player in the trunk saving the space for my a/f guage.

do you mind saying how much you forked over for it, the local Car Toys wants $2399, but i have freinds that work there and i can prolly get it for much cheaper, thats why i said $2k....

oh, and how much is it to install? i would think it would be more due to the extra features, but i may be wrong

i got it from my friend that owns an audio shop, it was used, he had it in his benz, i gave him 1500 for the installations and the touch screen.

alright, so have none of you guys actually installed this stuff yourselves? that's what i'm doing. and i the head unit is list 2800, you'll find it usually at places for like 2400-2300 and if you get the hook up, its about 900.

You are going to need to get mitra wireing harness so you don't have to cut up yours, the reason i had mine done was makeing the plexi face to hold the radio was a pain he used 4 pieces before he got it right 1\2 black plexi .

they make wiring harnesses? i haven't been able to find any anywhere. i was about to talk to my friend's foriegn exchange student to see if he could get me one from his home (japan). where can i get a mitra wiring harness? i'd be greatful to get one.

first off, its a metra wiring harness. you need a toyota one. just take out your radio and take it to best buy or somethingto have them find the one. its a lot easier. and if they try to tell you that they don't have one, tell them to look at the two white harnesses on the other side of the blue one. the blue one goes to the volume **** i believe and the single white one on the other side of the blue is the preamp output. they will probably have a harness that converts the rca outputs to the stock preamp output. you might need this too. haven't gotten my head unit, its still on order, but i hope this helps any of you.
