I'm looking for a 7-8 inch double din player for my 2GS, and i've seen some good ones that have usb for audio but not for video.

Any one have any idea if there is any that support avi/divx/ or even mkv?

If not then what's your favorite double din unit period. Thanks

 

A lot of head units out there right now will play videos either from an iPod or some have an SD card slot.

 

The high-end kenwood DNX units do play divx but not MKV and it should work both from the DVD or USB attached storage.
The usb port is not directly on the face of the deck however.

The pioneer avic units also have DIVX support.

I don't think any double din on the market plays back MKV.

(but I love my WD TV Live, on my 50 plasma at home. it plays back everything! in 1080p)
