Default pic request on wheels

Long time lurker, now a new member\first time poster. I have owned an rx330 for awhile and am picking up a 92 sc400 this weekend! I want to put rims on the car but am not sure I want to lower it, dont know if I want a harsher ride and other issues you are left w dealing w a lowered car.I have searched pretty heavily and what I am looking for is the proper rim and tire size to fill in a full ride height sc w\o issues ie rubbing etc. and would like to see pics of cars left stock height with wheels on. I am thinking from the searching I have done that 18's are the way to go but am up to suggestions. Awesome awesome site!!!

If you're keeping the car at stock height, here are some examples that I feel fit well.

My current setup, 17" polished Supra TT wheels

Another set I tried out were wheels from a Mazda RX8

Both I think look fine without a drop, the key is to use larger sidewall tires to fill in the gap. This also has the advantage of a nicer ride and soaking up bumps a little better.

Can't recall, I just tried them on with the stock tires that were mounted on them. I remember they were pretty narrow, 225/45/18 I think. If I had bought them, I would've swapped them out for 235/45/18

Did those rx8 wheels in your opinion need any spacers?

The RX8 wheels definitely need spacers, 10-15 mm should be enough to push them out but still allow clearance from the fender.

I just traded my 19's for aluminum-alloy Supra TT's & cash...well at least I think I have TT's. They're 17's but I need to recheck the specs on them. I know TT's are 17x8 in the front & 17x9 in the rear...plus my center caps are different. Instead of being round they cave in but have the Toyota emblem. I'll post pics of them when my car comes out of the body shop. Hopefully someone on here can tell me what center caps are on them.
