Default My ongoing Sc400 Issues SOLVED!

Hey CL. Im still having issues with my 92 sc 400. Car has weak full throttle, overdrive light flashing when engaged. I have replaced the following

Transmission Shift Solenoids
Transmission filter
Transmission Fluid
MAF Sensor
TPS Sensor
Spark Plugs
Coolant
Battery
Cleaned Throttle Body
Seafoam
Changed IACV filter
12v fuel pump mod

No longer throws any CEL, but still struggles to full throttle. The downshift button at the base of the pettle does not work, and this is my biggest problem . Im thinking ECU, or ignition coil. Suggestions? 240K on the car. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I was going to suggest the fuel filter... did you just pick this car up? Was it ever idling correctly since you've owned it?

Have you checked for any air leaks around the intake manifold?

I checked and my intake tube is leaking badly. Taped it up a bit and it drove normally for about 5 minutes until the tape broke. Getting a new intake tomorrow , hopefully this fixes the problem!

Vacuum leaks are the devil! In the MKIII supra world people are always deleting vacuum related items and then complain the car idles high and doesn't run right.

OD flashing means transmission failure is coming soon.

Are you serious? I feel like the problem is something else. Sometimes it runs mint, shifts perfect and everything. But most of the time it runs slow . I noticed today when I push it in low gear, it loosens up and drives properly. It feels as tho something is jamming it. When the car begins to run as it should, I feel a slight kick, as if something is stuck.

Can I get some more advice? I have some abs codes like code 34 speed sensor. Changed the o2 sensor today and helped a bit, but I have a feeling that the issue will come back. When braking, I feel the car sort of bog/jerk, and a noise from the front of the car. I'm at the point where I'm ready to swap the tranny, but I'd only like to do it as a last resort. Another thing also, today my coolant overflowed after a highway run, normal? I feel the coolant hose and it feels like there's air bubles in it. As you can see CL, this issue has me loosing sleep!
