I have a 2000 SC300. I read that there were only 512 built. Can that be right?

 

Was reading through the beginning of this thread and noticed that the 1996 sc specs pdf from Lexus has an error on one of the colors offered that year. It says 3L3 Ruby Pearl but the color they actually offered was 3L4 Bordeaux Pearl (I know this because I have one lol). They fixed it for the the 1997 pdf though but just thought it was an interesting little note.

I have a 92 SC300 5spd......Looked at the Lexus guide and only 1601 were produced....considering the year of the car...Its pretty rare to me due to it being the first year the model was offered.

I have a 99 GS400 with a Greddy exhaust and love the sound of it.
Getting a 99 SC400 tomorrow and have been thinking about checking into availability of a Greddy for it.

how rare are hardtop 5speed chassis?

 

Any hardtop is rare since most SC's came with Sunroofs/Moonroofs

 

my baby is 95 and 5 speed from factory. its that ugly green but now its red ;p

 

I have a 93 SC400, not that rare for you, but in Norway theres only 4 of these that are road legal with plates, and my mate has one too

Paid 15000$ for the car but had to pay bout 1000$ extra in road taxes to get the plates back.
But thats a normal price here in norway

 

I have a 2000 SC300 tan interior AT and normal black/onyx paint. Also have a 93 SC tan AT that I painted white

 

I say having the oem original paint from 1992, without any defects or faded spots.

 

I have had 2 SC300 5 peeds, both White/Tan, one 1995 and a 1996. Currently going NA-T on the 1996. Love these cars!
