Yea just a pain. But it wouldn't be like changing the rear main seal. As its in the front not the rear of the engine.

pulling the pan is a pita bc of the cross member and to do the oil pump you will have to completely remove the pan, timing components, radiator to get space (optional), fan and fan clutch, and a bunch more stuff. you will be looking at 4-6 hr charge on the timing stuff then 4-6 on the pan and oilpump stuff remove and replace. you will probably be looking at close to 1k after the shop is done with your car

it shouldve been done when the motor was out for a rebuild. and no its not the same as a rear main seal. the rms takes about 3-4 hrs to remove and replace the trans and seal

I meant the tear down of everything up front to get to it
