I know, I was thinking the same thing...

Regardless of Salvage Title or not. This is somebody's white unicorn and someone will ****** it up
$3,800 sounds high, but if i was a kid out of highschool, i'd be all over this!

I'd settle on $3,200 out the door. Your going to have front the cost for a new tag too
In Fla, that's another $ 400 regardless of what car you buy
Oh I have extra money in my saving & checking. I wanna buy cash, don't wanna deal with financing and ect.

I think the sales tax for cars in TX is like 6.25% and $45 for tags.

Run a carfax, which I did on this car. You will see the mileage of 200k + last year.

Sounds like the OP will have some room for negotiation
I do not know what the laws are like in Texas, but in Florida one of the few loopholes to tampering with an odometer/or misrepresenting mileage is if the vehicle is over 10 years old.

Maybe you ran another car. I have already pulled a carfax for this one. It states 123k was mileage reported.

Something isnt addind up...it clearly took a hit to the front, but if it was just a fender bender, why a rebulit(salvage?) title?

I guess like others have said, the cost of a new front bumper, passage fender & headlight/foglight would have cost to much, so they just totaled it instead.

just my thoughts, if it has a rebuilt title i would stay away from it and just keep myself from worrying that there is something undiscoverd on the car that could cuase me problems in the future. thats just me though, i must agree that is a steal for 3800. but personally i wouldent.

I'm not really worry about the salvage title. I brought my 93 Supra with a rebuilt title at 160k and she now has 291k and still going strong. Never gave me any major issues just maintenance stuff like battery, brakes, water pump, and pulley & belt.
