Call redline they will recommend the best fluid. I run their fluid in all my transmissions but its been so long I honestly can't remember what I've got in the w58

You are aware that the links for the Redline oil you posted are for the Differential ?

Some people with the MKIV V160 getrag 6 speed had bad experience with Redline , they said bushings were expanding. No personal experience though . I use Royal Purple for my 6 speed getrag v160.
