just curious is anyone running a dual battery set up for audio purposes, and if you are could you post some pics. pros, cons, d.i.y., any info would help. im going to install one today when i get home from school, just wondering if anyone else has done it on here.

 

its pretty much useless.

It would be more effective just to upgrade your alt. Unless you plan on playing music a lot with the car off.

also keep in mind that it puts more load on the alt.

 

^ ya I'd say just upgrade your alternator. There are a buncha high amp alternators for SC's on eBay for audio purposes. Its the route I've been meaning to go for a while to support my carPC, but so far my stock stuff seems to be working fine..

 

Run capacitors...

 

Capacitors are to hold energy shortly when it is quickly needed, they discharge quick. If this is for keeping the car on longer, then yea 2 batteries is the way to go.

Power Cable
Ground Cable
Alternator - Battery Cable

 

No reason really to run 2. Do what has been said.
