So I've tried to search for this answer but no luck... So my battery light stays on all the time I've tested my whole charging system and everything was good I've been driving it like this for a couple months and had no problems!!
Check how's the alternator CONNECTOR's wires, the insulation might be stripped already and triggering the battery light. I have the same thing on mine, haven't had time to change it yet, it's been on for a year. And oh yeah, it's different from the main alternator wire that goes to the battery. You'll know it when you see it.
This usually happens when your power steering pump leaks, and the oil leaks directly on the alternator and when the oil heats up then it hardens the insulation and make it crispy enough to strip.
