Default Battery light flashes on and off

I would assume this is an alternator issue or a wiring issue. Anyone ever had this happen before? I have a 92 sc300 and this is the first time i've seen this issue. Recently replaced battery as well. Any ideas would be great.

thanks

Its the alternator bro, mine did the same thing. Park her and replace that alternator wit a 100Amp one. Disconnect that Battery before you do it or you will end up having to find a 120Amp alternator Fuse.

Just happened to me on a 2 week old battery. Working on getting my new alternator as well. Do you also have a power steering leak by chance? That's what ruined mine.

thanks for the advice, I have a spare bosch alternator lying around so I will get the alt replaced. Should I disc the battery while the car is running to see if the alt is actually the issue first before I get the alt changed?
thanks

Mine was a bad connection on the wire. Somehow the nut was backing itself off and the wire was just bouncing around. I put some lock-tite and two nuts on it and haven't had a problem (I took the alternator in and had it checked first).
