Ive done alot of of searching and cant find anything is there a diiference between the soarers a340le and the sc's or the tt supras any insight would help everyone usaully talks manual
If I had to guess I would say the soarers and the supra TT auto trans has more clutch packs in it to handle the extra power then say the stock 2jzge transmission.
BUT with that being said boostlogic does do a performance build on the non turbo transmissions and so does Titanmotorsports
tt one has a big bellhousing because of the bigger Tq converter , shift points are different, aristo uses electronic kick down, while the soarer and jzge ge uses the kick down cable.
And what Justin said!!!
thanks guys i was figuring along the those lines i know they work with the obd1 perfectly and 1992 lexus im definitely interested in the auto trans as soon I start my 1j swap in the next month hopefully very nice build by the way

Not true. Cases and Converters are the same.
The only difference in A340 series transmissions is the extra clutch pack for the GTE's.
Also, Its not a kick down cable, it actually controls line pressure.
Ask me how I know all this stuff after trying to make the Auto Work, I pretty much learned Kanji Japanese!
P.S. For the record among so many "5 Speed swaps", a properly built Auto trans will annihilate any manual transmission accelerating.
The trans shifts for you under boost, you never have to lift! How awesome is that!?

Thanks man. I appreciate it very much. Should be going real soon. LMK about the tranny.
