Power to your compressor so air can get into your air tank.
From air tank, air will flow to the valves.
Valves will let air into your airbag which lets you go up/down.
Done :P

Only hard part is to wire up ur power and air lines to the suspension.

That the basics.

start reading threads on vipstylecars.com. there are so many different types of setups you can go with that it becomes something personal in what you want out of it and how you want it to perform.

if you can install a stereo, you can install air suspension.

"if you can install a stereo, you can install air suspension." -Kohinoor

I agree with this statement.

I've been contemplating in making a thread like this and I was scared to get blazed in making a thread like this but since there's already a thread like this I wanna find out which one is better, is static or air better for daily driving here in SD where the streets can **** up a 4X4? When I say which one is better for daily driving, I mean considering durability, comfortability and maintenance? Oh and also, I drive up to Rancho Cucamonga almost every month which is almost a 2 hour drive.... Any suggestions would be very much appreciated...

agreed, theres so many types of ways you can do it that there wouldnt be a simple DIY. one tip i can give is make sure when you set up your tank and valves, pressure test it prior to install. this will save headaches from trying to take stuff apart in the trunk.

There's things you need to know before going on air. See my thread towards the end. You'll see some trunk pics give you a rough idea where to put stuff on the SC. Others have used the spare tire well tp place an individual valve setup. As far as that kit your looking at... the manifold is a great way to go, its compact and easy to break down and clean. IDK about the corner switches on that kit you linked, I used electronic ride height control. Also you'll want dual pumps. That poor pump will be running constantly trying to fill your tank. There are some air ride kits for sale in the SC300 classifieds, or at least one. Good Luck

yeah i like how you have everything set up. and yes i do like that kit i linked becuase everything is going to look alot simplar and cleaner, and by corner switches do you mean that 4 black things? they are sensors to make sure you are always at the hight you have them set to be, for example the car will sit lower if you have 4 people in it compared to just yourself. the sensors make sure you are always at the hight you want it to be becuase clearly 4 people will require more pressure to lift up then just one person. and by pump do you mean compressors? and i would certainly get two man. if im wrong on anything please correct me. very new to air suspension.

what Levie has forgot to mention is that he already has the Ksport Basic air ride setup. And would like to upgrade it with the products in the link above.

take the advice i have given you, all the pics ive sent you, the intructions ive drawn out, i did all the wiring on my car and removed it all intact and laballed everything for you.....

you are worrying WAY too much.. your car is in the garage.. get started.. you have months before the winter is over...

jack it up...
remove wheels, coilovers you have on
put in the ksport bags, bolt em in,
run air lines from bags to trunk..
main power wire from battery to trunk. quite simple to run into the car then into trunk.
place valves where u want..
and begin attaching the wires i gave you, they all have connectors on em and are labelled everywhere.

dont pay someone a $1000 to install, ur just throwing your money away. you and a few buddies can tackle it, trial and error.. you will learn alot from doing this yourself.
