Default SEMICIRCULAR plug

SEMICIRCULAR plug leaking on the drivers side. anyone ever removed this before? if so how does it come off and how does it go back in? i hope the cam doesn't have to come out...
on a 95 Sc400

Thats a cam plug, its aluminum. Should be able to get to it by doing the valve covers.

yeah remove valve cover, put silicone on it and seal. Us boosted UZ guys have the same problem of popping the plug

Mine is not popped, but it is leaking onto the header and causing some smoke. I'm pretty much certain that is the source of the oil because I've changed the VCG's. It hits right on the header at the back of the engine.

my friend took 30mins to replace.... you only have to remove the valve cover and its in the back...
