Default 1JZ problems surprise surprise

So story goes, i test drove the car for the first time in a while. I get the car to spool for the first time because of boost leaks i had to figure out. I got it to spool once in first gear and after that the car doesnt wanna go over 2,000 rpms. Whether im in neutral or not the car doesnt want to rev over 2k rpms. First thing I did was check over the vacuum hoses in case one of them popped out but i get nothing!! I am not tuned and have no air/fuel controller whatsoever hooked up. Please help!!! I want to booost!!!!

Didn't post in the engine forum, surprise surprise.

Moved for ya

Make sure you're car isn't in limp mode by resetting the ECU.

Lmao Touche O.L.T. , Touche. Thanks for moving the thread and Thanks for the replies. Ill try to reset the ecu. But even then I'm assuming I need to AT LEAST get an SAFC to tune this thing and that will fix my issue?

Possible leaky cap, dying ecu as well. Crack it open and check it.
