I just removed the stock air intake assembly and removed the caps for the spark plugs. I also replaced two hoses, the ones to the left of the lexus logos where the little metal pipes are. Did I put them back on wrong? They both lead to some weird little thing located under the stock intake pipe. Could this be the reason why I hear that weird thump thump thump sound? Its a consistant sound, deep, basically thump thump thump?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? It was never there before.

 

I ended up calling my team mate and we went through a careful examination of our engines and found the problem.

 

What was it? Not firing on a cylinder?

 

I put back the two hoses to the left of the lexus logo in the wrong places. Oops.
