I've noticed that I don't get a consistent engine roar from my sound generator when I throttle hardly. I get more of a roar when the engine is cold and I floor it. Any other time I accelerate hard it doesn't sound like my sound generator is working. Anyone one else have this issue?

I have noticed the exact same thing. Don't' seem to notice a difference between sport/eco mode either. Typically I have it in eco and as I start up and leave work Is when I hear the best engine noise when it's cold. Not sure what the difference is.

The generator is a mechanical addition to the intake, no? Not like it's a speaker generating fake noise, rather something that allows a certain amount and type of noise to propagate. It would not care whether you're in ECO or S+, it matters more what the throttle body position is and the environmental conditions at the time.
