Default Finally an SC Owner!

Username: Cardio! Meaning behind it? Kind of just a nick name around my gym i've adapted! I'm also into running marathons and physial fitness! Lost actually 64 pounds by myself in the last 8 months!

Real name: Nick Martin

Location: St .Louis, MO CARDINALS WINNING GAME 7 TODAY!

Car: 1992 Lexus SC300, 83,000 miles, Red (Think the color is called Garnet Red?) Bone stock for now..

What's up fellow SC members!? As stated above my name is Nick i'm 22 yrs old in college just got my associates degree in fine arts and now doing a BA in liberal arts! First off I would love to say this fourm is so knowledgeable and helped me decied on getting an SC! I'm looking forward too becoming a very experienced member and learning more about the SC/JZ MOTOR and apprciate the help/adivce from everyone!

Ok, this will be my second car I've had my first was a 1999 Toyota Solara SLE V6 w/Intake, Exhaust, Lowering Springs HIDs, Big *** 19"TSW Wheels, aftermarket girll and headlights! Here's a quick pic of it! Unfortanely its time to part my ways w/her, i've had since I was 17 its just time for something new and different. She is currently for sale to so if anybody needs a daily/winter car hit me up!

Now on to the new hottness her name is Lindsey by the way! As stated before I have a 1992 Lexus SC300 and I love it! She only has 84,000 MILES on her! I found her actually on Craigslist up in Chiago and was actually for sale on here as well, paid $5,200 for her. I have major plans for her, but my dad helped me buy it so first off I need to sell the Solara before the modding begins I plan on doing
-BFI,
-Top Speed Exhaust
- New Headlamps (mine are 20yrs old and look terrible),
-Tint
-HIDs 6k
-G35 staggered wheels 18X8 front 18X9 Rear
-MKIV Supra Tanabe GF210 Lowering Springs (Got a buddy that has and extra set laying around he says! I have a very steep driveway so no coillovers for me sad face)
-New headunit/speakers
-Alarm
-Luxuray mods LED kit

If the motor holds up and I feel confident enough I plan on going NA-T eventually but no time soon. If it doesn't then Might think about a 1JZ swap!

Here's a couple of pics of Lindsey!

SORRY FOR SUCH A LONG INTRO THREAD JUST GETTING MY NAME OUT THEIR AND HOPE TO BECOME A PART OF THIS GREAT GROUP/FAMILY!

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy the SC. I'm from near the STL area, as well (game 6 was wild last night).

As a side note, you may want to seriously consider switching to a B.S. in something that's in demand. Take it from me (I have a B.A.), it's a tough market out there right now for liberal arts students. I did the same thing as you and got my associates first, but if I had to do it all over again, I'd go into healthcare or science. Just food for thought.

Welcome to the forums. That is a really clean SC! You got a great deal on it and that Solara looks great.

Congrats on the weight loss as well! It's awesome that you lost so much weight in only eight months.

Good luck. First thing I would do is throw those garbage ugly stock wheels in the trash can.
