Hub or Bearing Failure
gottchya, so I should just buy these $37 wheel bearings on ebay and install them inside my current hub? I'm replacing my shocks, inner/outer tie rods, calipers, rotors, and pads next weekend. I want to get everything done at once.
You're actually looking at the knuckle. You would need a wheel bearing and hub assembly to complete that.
If you really wanted to be sure you could buy $200 worth of material from Sewell and everything be brand new except the knuckle it self (which is what I'm doing)

i would personally just buy a new bearing for it and not have to replace it, you never know what could happen right? it could be on its last legs. and seeing as how you need your car for your business you need as little downtime as possible. GL
You guys aren't understanding what I'm saying. The used deal will only be on my car for a day or two max...it's just so I don't have to rent a car to go out on site while the one that's getting redone is being worked on.
