sent to you in the conversation.

95 SC400 with spoiler to 97 tail lights
part # 89373-24150 (brown box)

works flawlessly. when i put on the bodykit with the upgraded 97 components, the bodyshop ordered the tail light failure module from a 97+ year and got a pink box. the moment we plugged it in and i hit the brakes, tail light failure lamp came up. a fellow member who worked at a lexus dealership was able to provide me with that part number above and voila. wish i could remember which member it was to give him credit for the find.

I remember that thread of yours...Wasn't it DaveSC400 that helped you with that?

Since mine is a '95 SC300 with no spoiler (Actually, there is a spoiler, But it's tapped into and wired to the 3rd brake light inside the cabin) I'm actually going to need Part # 89373-24160 (Pink box) I believe that was the one you had gotten originally when you first did your tail light conversion.

I have no choice but to order this from the dealership and fork over the $350-$400 that they're asking for since this particular tail lamp failure sensor is next to impossible to find used.

did you try asking aliga if he had that part or if he could keep an eye out for it pretty sure he could help you out because 350-400 bucks is pretty steep compares to 25 buck i got mines for

Yeah, I did and he didn't have it. Also, that particular sensor is not very common so I highly doubt that it'll pop up used any time soon.
