Default How do I fix this?

I shifted to reverse on accident pulling out of mcdonalds.. Anyone know if this is an expensive fix or if anyone has experienced this?

not sure what problem you're having; the shifter seems to be locking in the proper spots.

how did it go into reverse, while going forward?

Well the videos a bad example since it clicked but the other day it didn't lock in place, it just slid around freely, it never shifted that easy

you must have just not noticed, im not calling you a liar or anything, but from that vid it looks 100% normal.

you probably broke the plastic piece that gates your shifter. If you take off the center console you will see it .Its easy.

mine locks but , I usually tap on the shifter button or I press the lock button and shift to any gear. This will not resolve the issue, but it will help.
