Boost leak, or....
hey guys I need some input.
I went to get the car tuned this week and a few issues came up.
1st. Only boosting 7psi when I have a 9psi spring in the external waste gate.. Odd I thought... Does this happen often?
I checked the hoses n bov n vac lines everything seems to be in order... Any ideas?
2. My aem tru boost ebc isnt working... Tuner was trying to up the boost to tune my high setting but 88% duty cycle only netted me 8.8psi???
I doubled checked all the wiring n hoses n retightened the fittings but same thing it is very straight forward I can't imagine why its not working unless this and my original 7psi are related... ill have to wait a few weeks to tear into it and double check every charge pipe n coupler and also maybe check the manifold for cracks

Definitely check for boost leaks. Make a tester out of a home depot rubber coupler and pvc cap. Mount a valve stem from a wheel/tire in the cap and then fill the system with pressure and listen for leaks or use soap/water to find bubbling on the couplers. I'd bet there's probably a large leak somewhere causing it
