Coolant tank leaking, common problem? (pic attached)
I don't know what's wrong with my coolant tank but it's leaking by the sensor area, I'm not sure if this is a common problem with these cars but anyways here's a pic, can anybody help fix the problem?
Ok so it seems like I fixed the problem without having to buy a new tank, here's what I did and it might be helpful for those thinking of spending money on a new coolant tank.
Use needle nose pliers to turn the sensor and remove it.
I went to Autozone and bought a box with different size o-rings, a couple of the o-rings in the box are about the same size but almost twice as thick, I used one of the dark brown ones which seems to be almost twice as thick as the original o-ring on the sensor.
Apply some oil around the o ring so it slides smoothly while you screw the switch back in, it's gonna be a little tight since the o-ring from Autozone is thicker but it's doable.
That's it, I drove the car for a while and no more leaks, hope this helps.

So as of today the damn leak continues, looks like the new o-ring only worked for a little bit, still leaking on the same area, I searched for a while and I didn't find any fix for it, except to buy a new tank, which I don't want to do.
