Default Show or Go??

Sup CL,
I just wanted to get some opinions & hear what you guys use your whip for. Is it all "show" just to look good? Or is it all "go" just about the speed/performance?
I'm swapping first before any exterior mods. I like alot us want the best of both worlds of show & go.

Thats a matter of opinion. Some like to $$$ in the motor and some due the maintenance first but you are saying you are swapping. I would do the swap with the maintence completed, then due your fixing on minor things and such.. It all depends what you can afford. IMO.

Both lol.

Seriously, it all depends on your needs. Is this your only car or the "play" car? You don't want to get completely serious in either fashion if it's a daily driver. What's the point of a show car if you drive it 30-45 minutes everyday collecting rock chips. Same goes with a high HP engine, you know something is going to go wrong and you need a back up.

I used to like show more than go but it's nice feeling the kick in the acceleration. I'd say go but simple look mods. Doesn't need a body kit to look good.

Show; as much as I want boost I'm already paranoid enough of cops pulling me over for speeding.

Just an FYI, thread with an identical title exists and more importantly, there's a thread O.L.T. has made that pretty much answers your question.

locked thread:
show-or-go

thread with opinions already posted:

show and go here ..

car built for car shows and some spirited driving/pulls.. at almost 600 rwhp on pump gas which is almost 700 crank i think it may qualify for some go

one mistake most people make is beating or constantly beating on the car especially at elevated power levels and wonder why things keep breaking or blowing.. answer is we dont build the cars correctly to sustain the abuse as we think it might take which is why i use the term " occaisional spirited driving".. to be able to beat on it and do weekly and for some daily long pulls and races , motor needs to be built accordingly and fortify the weak areas and have the best engine management available
