I hope I am in the right forum.
Here is the deal my power steering pump leaked on to the alternator and the battery died.
I replaced the alternator, the power steering pump and them my 20 year old son connected the battery terminals backwards. The main fusible link burned out and I could not get one in time to get him back to school. I was able to crimp the edges of the fuse back together and everything worked fine for a few months...he never got it replaced. Now nothing electrical works not a dome light the electric locks nothing. The battery is brand new. After towing it home 160 miles I looked at the link and it appears to be soldered. Is the Computer system dead?

If the entire car is dead I would start at the battery positive and ground. Trace wires too main fuses, use a meter. The ecu wouldnt be the problem for no windows..
