Can some one tell me the difference between 92-96 and 97 + climate controls? I want to replace my screen and was wondering if they are the same.

93 is green
95 is orange

The two half's separate so you can use any year display...

 

Fan speed is affected if you try to use an early one in your late model sc so 92-94 95-97 98-00 are the interchange year groups.

 

The interchange part is wrong.

98 are greenish
95 is orange.

I prefer the orange lights compare to greenish. I had 95 and currently own 98. 95 will fit into the 98. The 99-00 are different plugs from previous years, but lights might be the same.

 

I pulled a 93's A/C unit the other day, and it was green, along with the control ****, etc - and swapped the display onto my 95 control. No issues

 

I tried a 93 unit in my 97 and the fan speeds were messed up although I put a 95 in and it was fine.
