Will I have any issues replacing a broken climate control unit on a 92 SC300 with a unit from a 95 SC?

Mine didn't , I had to swap the control unit's brain to the new one so i could fix the bleeding , if that is the issue you are having

I want to replace the entire unit with one from a 95 SC? I read somewhere that the controls will not work correctly, but want to verify with you.

You just won't be able to control the fan speed. It will stay on at full blast. Swap the good face over to your climate control.

The entire unit in this car died. It worked okay when the car was purchased. The screen was black, but it worked and I could adjust the modes and temperature.

Now, none of the buttons work and it's stuck on the cold fan mode so it lets cold outside air into the cabin so it's no good since winter is around the corner. Where can I find a 92 unit for a reasonable Price?
