**updated 5-18-11** this is what i decided on, now sitting in my driveway. thank you to everyone who had input.


well time has come for me to buy an sc400. i wanted a white one however there are very limited options in y area when it comes to white ones in my price range. i was thinking black, but i live in the desert and it would be hard to keep clean, as well as it would show dents and dings well, but i seen a couple other colors on some of the for sale sc's around my area.... red, dark green. what color do you have? and would u change it? please justify your anstransformatyou!

as of today, megan c/o, xxr521's, vertex kit, tinted windows, straight pipe, window and roof visors. shes kinda dirty but you can see a magical transformation. =]

Exactly what ThomasGS4 said, this car is YOURS its what YOU like. Black is the hardest color to keep clean, but when it is clean its pure sex. Just wait for the color you like aka white

You could also search for 'repaint' in the same manner to see what folks who own the car might change it to if they had a choice similar to the last two links.

I've got a black SC and it is almost impossible to keep clean. When it's clean though, it looks great.

The best color in my opinion would be Platinum Silver from the 92-97 SC's and Garnet Pearl from the 92-94 SC's.

Color SCs i prefer are in this order, RSP, MIP, Black, White. But yeah your car you decide what you want who cares what others have or think.

Platinum Silver. I have a black Supra that's a pain to keep clean. My Silver Sc400 looks great most of the time.

If you're worried about the heat, window tint lol. but black imo is pretty nice when it's clean.

I always liked renaissance red and black onyx on the 97+ models. I own a platinum metallic and like it - it always looks fairly clean, as another member mentioned. My most recent favorite is the fairly rare baroque red metallic, though.
