Default Need help on possible conversion/swap

I have a 92 pearl white SC400. But I want a 2jzge motor in it. I looked on here and I'm just finding people talking about it. Nothing really set in stone. Wanted to know if the swap was possible? And if so then what is the average cost? Any help with this would be seriously appreciated. Thanks guys.

Also I already have a GE motor from my old MKIV. So what else would I need? Will any modding need to be done?

Thanks for the advice. Well I already have a 2JZGE motor on hand. I figured that would help save some $. Plus I was wanting to modd it before I put it in. This would make things easier. Only thing is like I was saying earlier I don't know if it's possible &/or what all I'd need. So that's why I'm here.

Its possible. You will need the correct motor mounts, ecu, and wiring harness, some exhaust pieces, assorted hoses for things like AC and heat, and various other goodies. Its definitely not exactly easy, but it can be done.

just out of curiosity, why would you replace the 1uzfe with a 2jzge? Most people normally upgrade to a more powerful engine. Unless maybe the 2j you have is a built NA-t???

Well the 2jzge just has more options. The 1 I have on hand is not an NA-t (yet). I personally have a lot a sources for this motor. So hoses, ecu, motor mounts, & a wiring harness? That sounds simple enough. lol. What about an igniter? Anything else needed in the engine bay?

^^^^ i kinda gotta agree... not to be a **** or anything like that but pretty sure you also need a tranny... somebody correct me if im wrong. it would be much easier to sell ur sc400 or trade for a sc300. really quite alot of trouble to do this... but to answer ur question i think along with what was already said u need a tranny as well.

for the amount of time to swap a 2jzge-T into a sc400 u might as well sell the 400 and buy a 300 and go turbo swap on the 300
