Folks, I have just located a 92 Sc 400....in mint condition.....the owner wants 5k obo......what is a fair price??????? The blue book on this car is 6.2k...this vehicle has 93k on the clock.....
you can throw blue book out of the window for a car like this ... at the end of the day it's about how much you want the car and if you can find another one like this
*****.....if, I decide to sale you will be the first in line......
Well, here in Puerto Rico.....Sc's are extremely rare.....thus....finding an sc in mint condition is shocking........most of the SC's on the road are 300's in bad shape..or heavily modified.....which is not my cup of tea.........
I have a 1992. If its mint condition and you like it, then buy it. I love mine and never looked back. Just check the normal stuff and see if it has any records of work done. Jmo. I think around 3500-4000 for it is a good price to start. Also depends in your area.

i would really like to see you get your other one back on the road though--i still think you can pull it off

Gotta agreee. I like my 93. If I was going to take a serious step up I would go 98+ for the slightly different engine. KBB is a bit of a joke anyways. 93k is not bad for a 19 year old car. Just make sure you check everything.
KBB is not a good source of accurate pricing, even less applicable to you since you are looking in Puerto Rico.
5k is a good start point in negotiating. You can easily take down 1k if you negotiate this with cash in hand.
