While we're discussing this area of our cars - does anyone else feel that the fuel and trunk release feels backwards on the SC's?
It's one of the only pieces that isn't mirrored from RHD version. I feel it's much more logical to have the trunk release closer to the door and the fuel door farther in because the trunk is accessed more often. Anyone else popped the fuel door by accident going for the trunk before?

Bumping a semi old thead. I have a cool key, i'll go get a picture of it in a second. It is a Soarer key with some japan tag on it. I obviously don't know what it says. Does anyone have any information on a key blank? Would it be possible to have the cut portion of this key welded back in and grinded down and have Lexus recut it? I want it to fit my GS300. *yes I obviously know a soarer is an SC300, but this is a key I would never get rid of*
