Thumbs up Cleaning Head Lights

Meguiars came out with a new "heavy duty" head light restore kit. It finally has a sanding pad in there and let me tell you, WOW! I can actually see out of them at night.

My HID's are actually white now at night and I increased light output a GOOD amount. Helped on the fog lights too!

It's about time they added the UV coating. You need a UV coating to put on after or it will just happen again. From my understanding the UV coating gets worn off then the plastic oxidizes. By polishing it off you remove the top layer of oxidized plastic. The higher end kits come with a UV coating to put on afterwards like a clear coating.

...Did you use a UV coating afterwards?

I'd pay the extra 10 bucks for the UV coating and ability to attach the pads to my drill.
