Let me start off by saying I'm not a noob asking how to put these in or anything like that. I bought a set of 8 blue LEDs from a member and last night I installed them.
As you can see my fuel gauge wasn't working and 3 of the bulbs are not on (the bottom left and right on the tach and the top right one on the speedo). Well tonight I took it out and apart again tightened up the screws that hold the fuel gauge and luckily enough it works again. BUT now 4 of the bulbs are not on, the original 3 from the picture and the bottom right one on the speedo is out too. I'm guessing its because they don't fit very snug in the plastic piece that holds the bulb. Any ideas? Or does anyone know where to get LEDs that fit better in our clusters?
Mine? Yeah thanks, I've got most of the LEDs working now, but there are hotspots obviously. Eventually I will take my chances with lextech or attempt the ccfl mod I saw a thread about...
