Exclamation Any answer? Key Question?

hey CL Ive been searching all day for an answer but cant seem to find one i have a 1992 SC300 and i don't have the original key i have an ilco one my question is can my car be reprogrammed for a Lexus key or does my car only take non chipped keys ??????????????????

Btw my sc does have the factory alarm i set it off the other day.

non chip key it doesnt matter.

Older sc's don't have chips in the key so you should be able to.

If your car has keyless entry factory and just don't have the transmitter which is built into the key you can buy the keys online for about $160 bucks. You will the have to have that key cut and programed, most likely by the dealer.

look in ur phone book under "laser cut keys" i had the same problem a guy cut me a key for 65.00 and AAA covered the key cost up to 100.00 then took it to lexus where they made copy for 28.00 per key
