Default union bolt

did a search and couldn't find the size of the union bolt next to the oil filter going to take it off to drill n tap for turbo oil feed i need to know the size socket i need, looks bigger then anything i have at home and i dont want to end up buying the wrong socket

if anyone remembers what size it is, your input would be greatly appreciated

...i dont know the size..but to make your life easier you could just buy the is300 union bolt..its already tapped so you dont need to tap the one you have..you can simply swap it out...also upon purchasing it, you can take it to a hardware store to figure out the size of the union bolt

I never thought of this, I might just have to give this a shot. I didnt have any sockets that big so I used a crescent wrench to remove it.

i haven't really gotten into it yet but it seems tight, was it hard getting in a big wrench?
